Leads

This Module will show the different types of leads in the solar industry how you can source them.

The different types of leads and how they differ:

Cold: Completely cold homeowner data you will have to call and persuade to book an appointment and buy solar through sheer sales skill. These are the cheapest leads, costing anywhere between 15-50c per contact.
Aged: The main difference between aged and cold is that aged leads did enquire on an ad about solar, most likely more than 90 days ago, hence the name “aged”. These are a bit easier to cold because you will have a hook that they did enquire about solar a while ago. However, they are still old, and you will deal with prospects who already purchased solar or have lost interest. These are the second cheapest leads, costing anywhere between 50c-$2 per lead.
Warm: These are recent enquiries, usually from 7-90 days ago. These are warm because they’ll mostly remember enquiring; however, they will still require sales skills to be booked and sold. These leads cost anywhere between $1-10 per lead.
Hot: These are leads who have inquired in the last seven days. These are the hottest and are usually interested in the call immediately. You will still need the skill to move from lead to sale. However, more talent will be required to qualify the lead correctly rather than generate interest. These are the most expensive leads, costing anywhere between $10-100 per lead, depending mainly on the lead generation method.
